The bottom section of the N.E route goes at Class 4(Grade"V" for "Veggie"). I did that a dozen or so years ago. At that time the bush was sparse for the last few feet to the bottom.

This is a description of the easiest route on the NE side of Mt. Seymour to the col between Seymour and Runner Pks... Find your way to a small landing at the near end of the prominent shoulder which involves downclimbing bush through a short, but steep step. The step (class 3+) is the crux of the entire route. You can get to this spot by scrambling down from the summit of Mt. Seymour or by traversing over from the large flat open area before the final ascent to the summit. Immediately from the landing, cross the top of a dark narrow gully and continue around the corner. A few meters of bush will bring you to the top of a steepish but easy grassy boulder gully. From the bottom of this gully take easy ground around and into the boulder field just below the col.

Very interesting, and thank you for resurrecting this old thread. Maybe even the Camel, who still peeks here, but is afraid to log in will appreciate it
