Default Stein Valley (May 2-3)

Last weekend, my wife and I had some great time hiking the lower Stein Valley for 1 night. It was our first time there and we were totally impressed. I tried to look on the internet at all the pictures I could find of the valley, but they just didn't come close to what it really looked like. It was very beautiful. The river, forest, mountains, birds, flowers, fresh air and great weather were the ingredients of our trip. No people! We arrived at the parking lot and it was completely empty. Only on our hike out we bumped twice into other hikers, but that was when we were almost back at the trailhead.

We made it as far as Suspension bridge camp, but seeing how crappy it was, we turned back an camped at Earl's camp. We just really wanted to sleep to the tunes of the river. Anyways, I'll leave some pictures to tell the rest...
