OMG, the cute meter is off the scale! You seem to have instilled good resolve and love of Nature.

Fantastic to see you making the most of this daddy-daughter bonding time... pretty soon, she'll be asking to borrow the car and pretending she's an orphan (drop me a block from school, OK?)

That's a trip to make you smile. Looking forward to days like that with my little guy in the future.

My "half-pint" is getting married in less than 100 days. Treasure these/those "little" times!

I really want to get out in the backcountry again. My kids have never really been there. We did a very short day trip into the first lake at Joffre about 11 years ago. Now I have 2, one 14 (man talking her into going will be a bit tough...) and 9. So any recommendations especially since it has been so long since I have had a pack on my back. Where might we go?

I miss it so much...

Moses, what a wonderful trip you had with your little girl! Nothing is better than spending some quality one-on-one time with your child. Brings back memories from the days of hiking (and coaxing!) with our girls when they were little. Thanks for sharing!

Cheers!

Wickedly awesome! But I'd still like to hear the TR from her perspective []
