Default Toy Libraries

One thing that I saw while in New Zealand that I thought was a very sensible idea were toy libraries: a central location with all sorts of toys that can be borrowed, played with, and brought back and exchanged for another. I'm told that at least one church up here in Whitehorse has one but it was the first I'd heard of it. I wonder whether there are more?

We don't have kids but parents that we know are always complaining about all the "stuff" that gets under foot, is wasted, is outgrown, and otherwise unused.

I remember seeing them throughout towns in the Kootenays. Cranbrook, Fernie, etc.

I know the Child Development Centre in Dawson Creek has a toy library. I imagine more Child Development Centres may have them.
