Cool destinations-other than Vedder I've never been to any of those places.

Mick,
You must put Thurston and Radium Lake on your list. Campbell Lake is a "Don't do" not much to look at. (Summer or Winter)

BillyGoat

Yes, I spend a fair bit of time hiking in the Chilliwack area, I think I have hiked almost every mountain down the Chilliwack lake road.

I see you hit an "unnamed mountain by Mud Lake". Is that the Mud Lake just outside of Blue River? There is a route there that I've been interested in (well, several actually) and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it (I may be near it this weekend).

Good stuff with the elevation progress!

The "mud lake" I am refering to is also called "Turnip lake". It is about 20k north of Litton.

Campbell Lake itself is so-so but the trail up to the lake viewpoint is decent especially in shoulder season.

Silerdaisy was tough going after 5000 feet. lots of snow and a very narrow trail. I did get a some sunny breaks at the junction. I turned around shortly after this due to time.

Thanks exscape

I live on Elk Mountain. So it was only fitting that I finished close to home with time running out.

P.S. nice trip report on Christmas day

Hope to see you two on the trail soon!
