Default Banff Castleguard Meadows via Saskatchewan Glacier

The weather looks good, so I'm heading to Castleguard Meadows via Saskatchewan Glacier on Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday forecasts look good, with possible rain on Friday.

Itinerary (subject to modifications depending on conditions):

Tues night: Sleep along David Thompson Hwy in truck.

Wednesday: Arrive early at Big Bend trailhead on the Icefields Parkway. Over the glacier and into Castleguard Meadows campsite in one day (I hope).

Thursday: Day hike to Thompson Pass along Watchman Creek. Hope the Alexandra is fordable there and I can find the trail.

Friday: Back out to truck.

I am going on my own, but would welcome companions.

Scott
