I'd like to join you for this hike since the overnighter fell through, I'll email Nancy and see if I can get a ride from Langley.

I just discovered this site, and I must say I am very happy that something like this group exists. I can't wait to join you guys on one of your next hikes.

Anyways, I wonder how many were you to do this hike yesterday?

I was just on the other side, on Hollyburn. It was very quiet, I was alone for a good while on the top. Wonderful weather eh?

Welcome "Chance". We had a great hike yesterday, fantastic view. There were 7 of us, 2 hours up and 1 down. A few others on the trail as well. Check the sign us board in the future, there's usually a hike every weekend.

Yep, great time with the group yesterday hiking Mt. Strachan. I was quite surprised at how close you are and what a great view of "The Lions" you get up there for only 2 hours of hiking.

Did you forget to count yourself, TB? Thanks for seeting up the hike. It was a fantastic day and the trail was in pretty good shape. The gulley route down to Howe Sound Crest is still very full of snow, so we decided to come down via the ski road. The Lions sure looked nice from up there!!

I just made Mt.Strachan today. Nice weather, though it was a little cold up there. The view on the North Summit is wonderful(!!!), and it was fun going down in the snow between the two summits.

To get up, I took the Baden-Powell trail from the parking lot, and then forked on the Old Strachan Trail as described in 103 hikes. Did you use the same path as I did, or did you take the HSCT? Or maybe you went up in the skiing area?

Anyways, I'm glad I discovered this mountain! Pretty scary though to see a crashed plane on a trail...
