The pictures have arrived!!
Special thanks to Moosehead for getting them developed. Despite a year of terrible conditions (rodent attacks, rain, heat, freezing temperatures, various altitudes…), the film held up very well. Though not very sharp, it captured the essence of the MPR vividly:

Let's raise our boots to all the participants who earned a spot on the MPR Trail of Fame!!

PS: for some mysterious reason, there is no frame # 10. Also, the camera appears to have been finished at Green Drop, but got another trail in for fun, but no picture from the last placement-McKay Lake.

Awesome! Nice to see they turned out. For some reason it looks like the pic of the park's guys that I took isn't in there. Wonder if something got goof'd when I took that picture. I took the pic of the two parks guys who had recovered the camera for me at Campbell Valley. Oh well..

how wonderful it was to look over those pictures and see a picture story of the camera's life!!

Im glad they turned out, I now know the secret to good pictures, abuse the camera, freeze it, drop it, let it go missing, let some critter chew on it, abandon it on some peak.... finally collect it and wow!!!! you get great pictures

I hope the other camera turns up soon, and we can get that one rolling again....this was such a cool idea Dean!!!!

Come on Russ, I am sure you can think of a suitable award for such a prestigious accomplishment.

Thanks everyone. Remember it's the CTers who laboured that little fella up and down trails in all conditions throughout the year that accomplished this feat. (round of applause)Anita: stoppit you![8)] You're making my head big. And don't even think 'bout it Russ!

Besides, look at the photos-that's what the relay has been all about from the start- the people. It says it all:

AT: thanks for the pic.. I think you're right about the count probably being off a bit. Oh well. If there's interest, maybe we'll get another relay going in Jan for 2005 and see what new places we can get on film.
Lastly, I gotta say the pics of Trailblazer & Billygoat just kill me. Were you guys sharing the communal bandana that week?![:0]What's up with dat?

Hummmm... rain is here and I have to <s>work</s> late tonight.
I think I may be able to cook something up
I agree this should not go unrewarded.
Well done Dean and those of you that had a hand in this epic.
