Some friends and I are planning to paddle the Clearwater river in Northern Alberta during the first two weeks of August of this year.

We have three people committed, (we do have another person down as a 'maybe') and need three more to fill another boat and a half. Three boats is the optimum number for this trip.

This is a whitewater trip, so moving water skills are a must, as are some canoe tripping and backcountry skills. Would consider a person with flatwater experience who wants to take a moving water course.

Renting canoes is an option as well - that's what I'm doing.

I don't know all the trip details yet, but I do know it's a one-way fly in or out. We'll drive to Alberta.
