Well, my daughter and I have been at it again -- this time on a four day paddling trip up Pitt Lake. It's a place that I've been many, many times previous but it was a first for my daughter. We experienced a few noisy power boaters but despite that, the incredible scenery made the entire experience well worth it. It was also the first time that I've been to Pitt Lake when it didn't rain.
Wow!! Fantastic photos. I haven't read the report yet but will slowly. I just love that area and hope to paddle it too one day. Can you get anywhere close to the hot springs?? Would it be too far of a walk along the road?
Those pics of the eagle are amazing! And I can't believe a seal was way up there! Crazy.
Thanks for sharing.
Q, the hot springs are apparently 15-20 kms from the top of the lake. I've never been there so I can't say for sure but I've heard they are quite nice. I know a few people who have taken mountain bikes up the top of the lake on power boats and then biked to the springs.
Ronbo, that sunset photo was taken from the Osprey North campsite.
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments, it was a really fun trip and we saw lots of cool stuff -- we're off to the Gulf Islands next Monday for a week -- can't wait.
