Default Best Morning Oatmeal!! (Seriously! So good!!)

When my partner and I go backpacking, our breakfast is by a large margin our favourite meal... it's delicious and I wish we could eat it all the time, but it's so calorie dense that we would pack on a tonne of weight haha so it's our special backpacking treat

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Oatmeal Mix

Ahead of time, mix together and put in a small Ziploc bag:
- 1/2 cup of instant rolled oats
- 3 tbsp of hemp hearts
- 3 tbsp of chia seeds

At Camp:
- Boil water and add 1/2-3/4 cups of boiled water into the oatmeal mix, depending on whether you like it to be thick or soupy. I prefer mine thick.
- Stir in 3 tbsp (or whatever amount you prefer) of chocolate whey protein powder (I get mine from Bulk Barn)
- Stir in a couple tbsp's of powdered peanut butter (again, I get mine from Bulk Barn).

It's seriously soooo yummy!! If you are finding it too thick after adding the powders, just add a bit more hot water until the consistency is just the way you like it.

I'm partial to a mixture of oats, quinoa flakes, ground flaxseed, bran, unsweetened flaked coconut, and almond flakes, with some raisins mixed in, and sprinked cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little brown sugar.
