Default Powdered Foods

I have seen in stores that powdered food is not becoming as available. Stores seem to go with fresh and perfect food now. They are not carrying the powdered foods that they once did. The stores are going elegent and natural. What would be a good rescource for me to visit.

PS: Is there really powdered sour cream??

So I wonder how this would differ from dehydrated food you did yourself and ground up. Maybe less chemicals & preservatives [?]
Oh and I bet it would be cheaper as well.
Cost for a dehydrater at WalMart is around $30, extra trays are cheap too.

I think there's actually a greater selection of dehydrated food in local stores available now than there ever was. Still nice to have a dehydrator though, as it really expands what you can take along with you.
