Default Has anyone used REI Flash Air 2 tent

I'm looking for a new, lightweight 2 person tent and this one has a good weight and price. It seems to be new on the market, does anyone have personal experience using it?
Another tent with similar weight and price is the DD X-Mid, has anyone used one of those?

Both of those tents use hiking poles and I'm not sure I'm ready for that... Lightweight freestanding tents that are a bit more expensive are the Nemo Hornet 2 or Big Agnes Fly Creek 2. Can anyone say from experience which one of those I should go for if I decide against a hiking pole setup?

Or is there a different ~1kg 2 person tent I should be looking at that is not crazy expensive?

Thanks all!

Late reply but you would have to decide whether you are okay with a single wall hybrid or a prefer a double walled shelter. The two you mention are quite a bit different - specs alone including overall features, would have me lean toward Dan's creation.

Other options, but more expensive, are several at www.tarptent.com. If you want a double walled trekking pole shelter that will easily take more extreme 3+ season treks, the Tarptent Stratosphire 2 is a good option.
