4 Season tent
Wanted to get into winter backpacking last year. But life threw a curve ball at me. However I will have time this winter. So, to my quest.
I have been doing some research on 4 season tents. Things I have learned is they should shed snow, be sturdy enough for heavy winds, be double walled to insulate and so on.Like most cold weather gear it comes with a high price. So I found this tent at Atmosphere "The North Face Alpine Guide 2 Person Tent". It is on sale right now and I can apply a discount. So it comes into my price range. It is a hybrid meaning that a portion of the tent is double walled. While there is a single wall section which is located under the fly.
Has anyone had experience with this tent? Also, is there other recommendations of a tent in a reasonable price range?
