Question Melmac / Melamine Dishes

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy some melmac / melamine dishes (plates, bowls, etc).

Most of my hiking is day hiking. Wife and I like to set up our tent trailer as a base camp, and do different day hikes.

We have a supply of dishes, but over the years some have beome lost or broken.

I have checked most of the camping supply stores that I know of, and some stores such as Walmart, all to no avail. I have also checked on line and obtained the manufacturers information, but when I send an e-mail to customer service asking who their retailers may be, I never get a response.

If anyone has any suggestions where I can obtain melmac / melamine dishes, please post the information.

Thanks in advance and hike safely !!

I don't know where you can find those, but for camping the wife and I use enamelware as grease washes off easily (compared with the old plastic ziploc plates we used to have).

Any reason you're looking for melamine?

I think its all melamine these days unless you find melmac at a thrift store. BedBathandBeyond carries them. Amazon has melamine dishes listed.

Have used melmine / melmac dishes in my camping equipment for years. Have found they are very durable, clean real easy, and last for a very long time.
