I have a Arc'teryx jacket that I want to get repaired / warrantied, but since they're a Vancouver based company it seems silly to go through all the warranty request stuff, then shipping it, when I could potentially just take the jacket somewhere within the city and hand it directly to them and skip all the middle man stuff.

So can I just take the jacket to the head office or something, or do I have to go through the whole process?

I remember talking to the Vancouver store people and they said the store can act as the middleman..however I wouldn't hesitate to call them and ask, as I may be wrong.

I'm pretty sure you can just take it to their place in North Van, as long as you go there when they're open. You can probably find details on their website.

Email them and ask about it. Info is on their website. I had a similar issue a few years ago and emailed them about it. They gave me instructions for dropping it off at their Burnaby facility (warranty and repair was based there at the time - not sure if it still is). I had to get a warranty/repair number from them before dropping off.

I took a delaminating seam on a jacket in to the factory store in North Van and they dealt with it quickly and effectively.

I bought it through LiveOutThere and I'm pretty sure they're Toronto based so going through them would just be a waste of time. I filled out the warranty request form and once I get the warranty number I'll just take it over to North Van myself. Thanks everyone.

+1 to taking it to the corporate store in North Van. I didn't fill out any forms or anything ahead of time - I just showed up and they dealt with everything very efficiently. You may be out of a jacket for a bit of time though so it can be tricky to choose the right time to do it if you use it on a regular basis.
