Will the new redemption email include any previous balance? Or do I have to dig and locate old emails?

My email didn't snow the previous balance. It did have the member number though, so I bet you could phone in or ask a cashier to see if you have any unused gift cards.

MEC sends out reminder emails when a certain length of time has passed and the gift card hasn't been used. So, you do actually get more chances to find out you have a gift card in cyber space waiting for you.

Drive down to Bellingham ( or to Seattle! ), get a membership at REI and get 10% back next year on your purchases.

REI is a coop, MEC is modeled after it. MEC was founded about 30 years after REI began operations. REI's dividend process is more transparent and more generous.

In my case it showed the new amount as well as 2015's unused amount. You might have used all of 2015's up?
