Default 103 Hikes 5th Ed at Costco

Just an FYI. For those of you who don't yet have the 5th Ed of 103 hikes (and also the new 109 Walks), I saw it at Costco for only $12.49.

Thanks for the info Jim,I'm almost out of room on my bookshelf!

I still think the best two books on our area are;
Dawn Hanna's Best Hikes and Walks of Southwestern British Columbia &
Copeland's Don't waste your time in the BC COAST MOUNTAINS.

I also have a very old (1977)hiking guide that was put out by the Vancouver Province called Hiking Trails.It was edited by Fred Curtin.
It may even be a collectors item ??
I'm willing to bet that the group combined,has a very extensive library.Maybe we could get a listing together on what is available and on related info?

I have more books than HikerBoy has stoves! I'll post a list of my books in the thread. Over the past week I thought a good feature for the site might be to have a section where you can post a book and allow people to put up reviews on the book.

I'd love to see that 1977 book sometime! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> I think my oldest is the BC Recreational Atlas which was published in the 70s as well. I also have some old forestry maps of the areas - funny seeing alot of areas on the map which had yet to be established as parks.

I'll probably put up more info about the books I have once I put together that section of the site - if it is of interest to people. Others could also contribute.. Let me know.. I know for myself, I'm always interested in hearing what's new!

My wife's Aunt just passed down the first ever edition of 109 walks published in 1976 by the same authors.
I just got the 5th edition from Costco, WOW what a improvement with the maps and the new trails.
