Super hydrophobic , the holy grail,. I tried some " surface creen ' from Aus awhile back. just another DWR really, hard drop impacts will force their way through the gaps between fibers , so it wets out in 15 min or so. Now if it was repellent enough to resist that you may have something,, but take a walk with your most 'breathable' fabric on a dry day and see how much water builds up.
NOT good here is the waffling about durability, and good for 2 washes only. Not sure its worth the expense and hassle, even though i love spraying toxic stuff on things.
