Default Tent pole bungee cord resting in peace

The elastic has died after many years. I can send it off to The North Face for replacement but I am wondering if there is a place in Vancouver that would do the repair. Any suggestions?

you can get replacement cords at MEC, then you just pull the pole tip off one end and rethread it yourself
