Found: 1 MEC Winter Mitt

(Oops - put this in the wrong section yesterday.)

Found on the shores of Quadra Island on July 30. Possibly from a kayaker, boater or fisherman?

It's in great condition considering it may have been in the water for a while.

Happy to help get it back to the owner.

Posting on behalf of a friend:

Found MSR Hubba Hubba pole set in a green pole bag on Curme Islands in Desolation sound on July 24th 2012. Please message me through CT with info about what else is in the pole bag to claim them.

If they aren't claimed by Labour Day they will be donated.

Lost: one Black Diamond trekking pole with a cork handle, somewhere on the road between the Judges route parking area at Mt. Arrowsmith and the brake check (heading east on the highway).

If anyone finds it I will be most appreciative! We've been through a lot together.

Well no one has claimed the MEC Winter Mitt. I called MEC and they said to drop it off to any of their stores as they always have folks coming in hoping to match up some piece of gear that they have lost. So I will wait a few more weeks as I have also posted the item on the West Coast Paddler Forum and on Quadra Island where I found it. After that the mitt's new home will be the Calgary MEC.

Happy Trails

Thanks in advance. : )
