Lost my black handled 5 inch knife on Seymour today. Might have been buying fries in the lodge or showing my 3.5 year old the difference between skeleton and luge at the bottom of the winter trail...he's a skeleton man by the way.

Please PM me if you find it. Sentimental value.

FOUND: Nalgene Every Day Bottle - sorry, I am late, in August 2012
Along the Dena-Cho Trail coming from Ross River, first part towards Faro.

It seems to belong to an outdoor-loving owner because there are the following stickers on it: I'm into Yukon Parks; ORCA, Ontario Recreational Canoeing Association; Canadian Avalanche Association.

It looks quite used in general (unfortunately this means that the water tastes a bit strange if you carry some in it). I take care of it here in Germany, but next time in Canada I would be pleased to give it back. In the meantime it is my favourite souvenir. I don't really use it, I keep an eye on it in my cupboard. If you know the colour, just give me a note.

I lost my Canon digital camera a few weeks ago on the approach route to the summit of Judge Howay. My best guess is that it's somewhere close to the trail, in an old growth section, just as the route enters some low brush before the hanging valley (as you are ascending). [V]
So you did not do like me leave my camera and credit card in a bag at the lookout on elk,
I went back up and had more energy the second time....

I think it would make a lot of sense if threads like this one were posted in reverse order... that is with the newest posts showing up on page 1 instead of way down the list. Same thing goes for the "photo of the day" thread. What do others think?

Yep. Good idea. If it's possible on this site.
I'd also suggest that it be more easy to find. Like there should be a Lost and Found thread in each regional section.

Seen on the TNT trail, lower Mt Seymour, Lower Mainland:
Blue and white Adidas jacket, large size, hanging on tree beside the trail. In good condition. I left it there. Looks like it was there at least one or two days, soaking wet.

Default Found: Canon PowerShot D20, Sim G-Main

Hello Everyone,

My friends and I went up Mount John Clarke this past weekend. There is landslide at approximately the 51.5 km along the Elaho Main FSR; at this point I think it's the Sims G-Main FSR. This is also the point where I found the camer.

My friend Ross has provided the following coordinates for the landslide: 10 U 458613 5564543 (NAD83 UTM).

I've also uploaded photos of the camera, and of the landslide.

Hope it's going swimmingly,
Pardeep Longia

FOUND: Camping Hammock in Zipped Carrying Pouch

Found 2015APR14 after 7pm on Main Seymour Trail close to Tim Jones memorial. I debated taking it or leaving it in plain sight, but it was getting drenched in a slush puddle.

PM me with the brand and colour and we'll find a way to get it back to you. I also posted a notice on the map board in the Seymour parking lot.

Default Hiking Poles

Just wondering if a lost and found forum was ever established - ?

I found an amazing pair of hiking poles last weekend and would love to find their owner.

Does anyone have suggestions? I did the Craig's/Kiijiji list postings.

If they are yours - let me know!

Thanks

My turn to lose something. Yesterday I lost one of my poles off my pack somewhere between the N. Needle/M. Needle pass and the pass between the M. Needle/S. Needle. My guess is that it was pulled off while squeezing through a few exposed krummholz on the steep north side of the M. Needle. It likely slide off the ridge east or west to 'no man's' land, but if you should come across it before I do, I would appreciate having it back.

John, I have your pole. Found it on that steep section ascending Middle needle....thought those paw prints looked familiar. PM me to let me know how to get it back to you.
