Default SkyLine trail Jasper

Finally woke to a perfect bluebird morning and a planned day hike with a group who are spending a couple of nights at Curator, woohoo! This summer this combination of days off and weather have been few and far between...gathering a group of 10 woman is not an early start but very entertaining, left the parking lot at the crack of 9:30, which I thought was pretty good actually!
The mosquitoes were miserable but not too extreme. Once we reached Evelyn Creek I was surprised to see the water is running around the ends of the bridge. Lots of wet and muddy sections on the trail.

The wild flowers are wonderful just now and I'm sure with the heat and sun yesterday will bring them out even further. The picture of the sign at Snowbowl camp is the same spot as I was at in Feb. which is just above Shangri-la cabin.
