Default Backcountry course

http://mountainacademy.salomon.com/en

I stumbled onto this website, and obviously an online course is no substitute for the real thing, but a $29 refresher.... I wonder if it is worth it?

My bad. Didn't dig into it enough. I saw the $ and thought "Euros don't use that... they look like this €" then opened my big mouth. :-P

Take the online tutorial here for free: http://www.avalanche.ca/training

I bet it covers 90% of what the Salomon course does.
