Any snow to speak of yet in S. Garibaldi Park?

Yes, there is snow.
As of Monday Nov 11 it was snowy from about the viewpoint on the red heather trail. Once up in the meadows snowshoes or skins would be better than postholing. There was some skiing to be had along the ridge on the way out to Elfin, but lots of early season hazards remain. The upper slopes in the Columnar/Gargoyles area are more reliable.
This past week of warm weather may have thinned it out a bit, but there is more snow forecast for his weekend.
Bring snow chains or have good winter tires on, a sudden low elevation snowfall can change the park road dramatically in the space of a day. I saw a couple of vehicles having trouble on the last stretch of road into the parking lot on Saturday.
