Default Cheam road conditions

Is the road passable with a 2WD pickup?
I'd like to hike Cheam and Lady Peak this weekend.
2 years ago I made it no problem.

Passed 8 vehicles going up, 6 on the way down...it was VERY busy up there today!

Some of the vehicles were regular 2WD's but I didn't go all the way to the Parking Lot so I can't say how many of those made it that far.
Road is about the same as every other FSR in Chilliwack - that is to say; deteriorating and un-maintained.

Sad, really.

That road isn't even a 4x4 road, unless maybe if you have car sized tires.

we drove to the TH a my last visit in a suzuki sidekick, never engaged 4wd until the way down (lower gearing and less use of the brakes)
was also a busy day, Sept 2nd, a sunny sunday.

Thanks for the info!
Glad to know I won't have to hoof it to the trailhead.
