Default That good old feeling...

I felt like I should post this. I'm a few days away from a good old classic weekend winter camping trip. I'm at that point where you toss your backpack in the corner of the room and day by day you find a couple more items that have been hiding in the corners for some time and add them to the pile. That point where the few days of work are now just hurdles to get over before you get to what really matters. Man I love this feeling. Like your finally free to get out and do what it is that you feel so happy to do... Am I alone that gets this way..
mick range, Kanike, sixer and 1 others like this.

Ive lived here in paradise most of my life, I go hiking any chance I get, and one day Kilimanjaro I\'ll get you too!

I'm usually frantically packing my bag at 2 am the night before I leave.... I have to say that your method sounds a lot better.

Not alone. I was like this a month ago when I was getting ready for my own winter backpack. I always start packing a few days before and sometimes in the process find cool things I forgot I owned. (for ex. my LuminAID solar light).

Where are you heading to? Stay warm and have fun.

Yes!!! (although usually it's for a warmer place not colder, but the feeling is the same)
