I've been seized by the idea of renting a couple of chainsaws in September and mowing out the trail to Lizzie Lake over the course of a weekend, since VOC appears to have silently abandoned the cabin and after five years the trail was damn near a wall in places as of last summer.

Would anyone be interested in helping out? I know Lizzie isn't the most high profile destination in the region, but it's a piece of history as well as a beautiful place to relax away from the party huts and would be a crying shame if we lost it to neglect again.
