Few years ago I did the Skyline Trail starting from Paradise . Completed the whole loop. Great vistas when you are at the top. Going back to Mt. Rainier next weekend. With any luck will make it up to Camp Muir.

Spent a week at Mt. Rainier National Park. Based out of Cougar Rock Campground, and went hiking every day.

Did the Skyline Trail again - great views from Panorama Point - Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt Hood all visible. Had to cross some snow to complete the loop.

Other trails included Comet Falls, Snow & Bench Lakes, Carter and Madcap Falls and a short trip to Myrtle Falls.

Spent the last full day at Sunrise, and hiked the Sourdough Ridge Trail to Frozen Lake returning to the visitor centre via the Wonderland and old campground trails.

Never attempted to make it up to Camp Muir. Would have required a crossing of the Muir snow field, and we didn't have the required equipment to make the trek (recommended to rope up).

Wildflowers were in full bloom, but I suspect we missed the best of them.

A great week that went by too fast !!
