I'm starting with a bit of throwback here! Partly because I am sick of all my snowy photos, and partly because I happened to stumble across these photos on the memory card I pulled from the camera. I need an external harddrive and to get organized, but that's another story.
Frontenac is about 3hrs east of Toronto; closer to 4hrs if you let your friend drive and take a 'shortcut' to a place they've never been before.
We parked at the office and headed up in the main trail, Corridor Trail, straight to Little Salmon Lake. This was our camp for the first night. The next morning we took to the trail around the north of Little Salmon Lake, and met up with Arkon Lake loop to make camp for the second night. Once we ditched our packs, we took off on the west trail back down to the Corridor Trail second parking lot, and back up around the Arkon Lake loop. It rained the third day, so we were glad to have already explored the west trail back to the Corridor; it made it easier to make a mad dash through it. Still got soaked. Ah, well.
On to the photos!
Heading out from the parking lot.
Sunset over the lake at our first camp.
I love autumn. So many pretty colours!
