Went up to Tonquin early March this year. Five days, in via Astoria and out Maccarib, but not a single caribou or their tracks sighted.

Depends on the warming trends. Usually the last of the snow bridges are collapsed by mid March and snow pack is going isothermal. Pretty well impassable until June once that happens.
