I liked Cujo the most, but Oil always had good goalies - Fuhr, Ranford, Cujo, Salo... Still not sure what to make of Talbot though

The upside if Canadian teams play each other is that at least someone is going into 2nd round Oilers - Flames 1st round match-up would be fantastic (game 7 overtime

Well I was hoping for Vancouver but I know that ain't gonna happen this year. Guess I'll have to go for whatever Canadian team makes it the furthest. I'd like to see the cup stay in Canada... although it's a tossup between keeping the cup in Toronto and letting it go to some U.S. team. Too bad they don't all have cheerleaders, that would make the decision so much easier.

So...FIVE of the seven Canadian teams have made the playoffs this year. Quite a change from last year!

I'm surprised that Winnipeg didn't make it...

Rather optimistic outlook for the Canucks, given that they are 29th out of 30 this year, but I guess miracles ARE possible...I wouldn't hold my breath.

You have more faith in the Leafs than Leaf fans do
The radio host today was talking about how we have such low expectations that we would just be happy not to get swept.

Still.... GO LEAFS GO!!

LOL
Playoffs are different beast and Canada has passion as hockey is part of national identity; this sometimes does very unexpected things.

But yes, go leafs. I don't jump on "west hates east" bandwagon and once playoffs come tend to cheer for all Canadian teams. So GO LEAFS GO

I won't get into # of games, but:

Montreal over New York
Boston over Ottawa
Washington over Toronto
Columbus over Pittsburgh

Edmonton over SJ
Chicago over Nashville
Minnesota over SL
Calgary over Anaheim...(Yeah, I still hate Kesler).

Looks like the "Sea of Red" is in for some MAJOR disappointment this season.

When you are up by three goals...you keep the pressure ON...don't choke!

So it looks as though I'm already wrong on three of my predictions...
Pittsburgh, Nashville and Anaheim look to advance to the next round.

Montreal vs Edmonton in the finals...what a series!!!

...and now Calgary will be golfing, and I have to watch that weasel with the shit-eating grin for at least one more series....
