Seriously Aces, as the only professed Maple Leafs fan on this thread I would expect you more than any to respect a lonely soldier honoring his allegiance even in the face of many a bitter ending in years gone by.

Alas, like the little turncoat you are you have already abandoned your flag and donned the colours of your traditional executioners Les Canadiens de Montréal!

No I did not say I wasn't going to watch hockey this season

You wouldn't believe how many people out of the blue tell me I have a nice hat.
But when I used to wear a canucks hat (god knows why), nobody said a thing, no nice hat or anything.

I thought it was really good game last night, came right down to the last second of the third period and they once again demonstrated that no lead is a safe lead against them. Getzlaf got a little over zealous on his first game back and shouldn't have left his feet on that hit but I certainly don't think he intended to hurt anyone.

I dont know if I agree with the way two of the articles called for the addition of a tough guy, if anything it's not the hits the Canucks take that frustrate me as much as how often they let opponents fall all over their goal tenders. Even for goal tender crunching though, I dont think the Nucks need to add any toughness, they should simply return the favour every single time it happens.

Truth of the matter is, your not going to beat the Canucks from the penalty box and I think every team out there knows that, which is not bad protection in it's own right.

I dont like seeing players hurt period but, if your going to take a bunch of injuries on your D this is probably the least painful time of the season for it to happen because almost all will be back in time for the playoffs and fresh, unlike what happened to Malkin... OUCH!

The Nucks dont have to worry about their playoff spot anyway so they can deal with this adversity.

Ottawa is cleaning house as of today. Fisher got traded to the Preds. My prediction is that Chris Neill could get moved here. Perfect fit, he can scrap like a demon, and scores too

So when the Canucks get going, they get bullied by big players. Perhaps they need one massive brute on the sidelines to glare at those players who want to rough up the Canucks.
