Just a quick update on this trail, we hiked it for the first time on Sunday. Started off under overcast skies just after 9am. This is a pretty good quality trail, I was expecting a grunt straight up the hill but this trail has some nice switchbacks. It seems like this trail has been here for quite a while, I was a bit surprised at the lack of signage at the trailhead for such a good trail. Higher up after the first viewpoint the snow started at about 500m. Snowshoes on at 550m to prevent postholing. There were only a couple of other tracks visible. By the time we got to the 2nd viewpoint, it started snowing pretty good, and we decided to turn around. Got a bit wet on the way down as it was raining quite hard. Saw another party of 3 on the way up, near the viewpoint. We'll be coming back when the weather is better! Elevation gain about 660m to the 2nd viewpoint.

Thanks for the report! I didn't know there would be any snow up there! As a resident of Coquitlam I am shocked someone would venture up that side of Coquitlam. I haven't done the lake from that side for a few years now!
