Hi there. I am Wendy from the UK, mid fifties and getting fitter. I am staying in Deep Cove, North Saanich for the next five weeks then another 3 in Victoria and I would love to do some hiking or walking in the area to discover more of it. I have no transport, but can get to Sidney if there was anyone willing to do the driving and I would contribute towards fuel costs. It would be great if I could get together with a few people in the area to discover more of this wonderful island. At the moment I would probably be able to manage max of 10k whilst building up my fitness again. I have a fear of heights, but although I don't mind inclines, bridges are a bit of a problem eeeeek
