It's back! The developers of the proposed Garibaldi at Squamish are holding a public open house this Thursday in Squamish. The FMCBC has opposed this development in its many incarnations, but now we need some help. If you're available and able to attend, please go to the open house and let them know you're not in favour.

"At the direction of the Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) last year, GAS has submitted a supplemental application, which removes two golf courses from the plan but persistently ignores our concerns regarding the significant impact on non-motorized recreation in the area."

To make this work you'd have to enter in as a ski resort and get the golf courses open after from probably poor ski sales or sell it to someone international.
