Default gas stove?

I'm coming to BC in a few days and I'm wondering if I'll be able to buy cartridges for my gas stove. I use the screw on type commonly available in the UK, and I know I sometimes have a hard time finding them in continental Europe.
Thanks!

You can find them easily at a Canadian Tire shop too, it's a big chain store much like B&Q's over in the uk.
