SOG Knives

I've been doing some looking at different types of knives, SOG has me interested. Are there any stores in Vancouver that carries SOG Knives? Are you only able to purchase them online?

House of knives is your best bet. If the location near you dosen't have what you want they can get it. Langley has a good selection & so does Abbotsford , if you feel like the drive.
Dave's Surplus in New west has a limited selection but I'm sure Dave will order in as well.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll check out House of Knives at the Coq. Centre. I'll go further east if I have to.

I picked up this beauty on ebay recently for only about $80 including shipping.
It's the SOG Tech Bowie Black TiNi.
Well worth looking before commiting to local retail prices!

Great knives, I used to sell them here is Australia.
Word of caution. If you want the best quality make sure you know where is it made. The best are the USA and Japan but there is some offical ones made in tawain and they are not as good a quality. Ill check my sources and confirm and add anything if needed.

The off shore ones could be the cheaper Ebay sales.

Hey, The Hiker...That's the Trident 2.0 isn't it?... Very nice. Whew, you are sporting some Knife bling on the trail..

I think your speculation is wrong.
SOG has assured me that although they do have factories in both the US & Japan, all thier knives of a similar model are made in the same plant and are of equal quality.
Any Tech Bowie ( or any other model) that are official SOG knives are of the same quality and carry the same warranty.
They do sell some with slight blemishes for a discounted price, but they are simply superficial blemishes that don't affect the quality of the knife.
An immatation SOG would be quite easy to spot.
They are of such high quality and use some very proprietory features that no immatation would be able to match.

Yes it is ! However I would not wear it on a busy trail... don't want to scare the tourists ;)
It's mainly for backcountry travel and extended trips. I have yet to do a field test and when I do I'll post it.
"Thanks boss for the O.T."
