The only exercise I would find useful on that list is 'Uphill walking with a pack' since it works all of the leg muscles. There is mistake where it says "Fill your backpack with 5-20g". I'm sure it must mean 'kg'.
If you can't get out every day, then at home doing squats and calf exercise is valuable. Also, add to that list some back exercise especially if planning on a backpack.

I had a quick look at the link. No concerns really (except maybe for the clothing the guy is wearing in the nice photo ). And as solo75 points out, the best training for hiking is...hiking!
